NORTH WORCESTERSHIRE

EQUESTRIAN CENTRE

Horse Riding for Sport, Leisure and Therapy

About Us

North Worcestershire Equestrian Centre is split over two sites, nestling near the foot of the Clent Hills - a renowned beauty spot owned by the National Trust.

The Stud and Livery Yard are housed at the main site in Woodfield Lane, where you will find the office/reception area in the rear of the bungalow.

The riding arena is a short walk around the corner in Newtown Lane.

The centre started life as Silvretta Haflingers in the late 1970's, when Helen opened a small riding school and began to accumulate her beloved Haflinger horses.

By the early 1990's the riding school had grown, Helen's breeding programme was underway and the yard had become home to a number of livery horses as well as Helen's own. At this point the name was changed to North Worcestershire Equestrian Centre, to encompass and reflect the diversity of the operation.

The business now includes:

A riding school offering lessons and escorted hacks over the Clent Hills for adults and children from beginners to experienced riders.

Silvretta Livery - offering competition livery (especially for endurance horses and riders) , leisure, schooling and holiday livery.

Silvretta Stud - with fabulous haflinger stallions Stagsden Amaretto and Oxnead Windsor standing.
